“In High School I got the opportunity to improve my English at Guam summer camp led by Russ. Because of his lively teaching, I became interested in English. At that time I was quite afraid to go abroad by myself, but I was encountered by my Teacher. I instantly became more calm in my heart. I look up to Russ. Because of him, I later traveled to the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Cuba alone. Without him, I would not be the brave man I am today.”

He taught students how to interact with locals. They started off shy but quickly became independent and confident speakers.”
